BDS 3000/800 De-watering Conveyor
Kronen de-watering conveyor BDS 3000/800 is used to de-water salad, baby leaf and leafy vegetables. This machine removes moisture from the product before the drying process. Up to 3-8% of moisture can be removed from products using the BDS 3000/800.
Process
- The produce is transported between 2 belts.
- The suction device takes the moisture from the product.
- The product then blows the produce to the top belt where an additional suction operation is carried out.
- Several dewatering operations ate carried out
- The outfeed section has an air knife to remove the remaining product from the belt.
- A noise reduction box captures the moisture and reducing the noise levels.
